Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to request the deletion of your personal data from Creator Lounge. If you connected your account via Facebook or Instagram, you can use any of the methods below.
What Data We Store
When you use Creator Lounge (including signing in with Facebook or Instagram), we may store:
- Your name, email address, and profile information
- Social media profile data (username, profile picture, follower count)
- Content you create on the platform (offers, lounges, settings)
- Usage and analytics data (clicks, conversions)

How to Delete Your Data
You can request deletion of your data using any of the three methods below:
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Log in to your Creator Lounge account
- Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Data Rights
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Method 2: Via Facebook / Instagram Settings
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Select Apps and Websites
- Find Creator Lounge in the list
- Click Remove to revoke access and trigger data deletion
On Instagram: Go to Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Active, then remove Creator Lounge.
Method 3: Email Request
Send an email to partnerships@creatorlounge.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate your data.
What Happens After Deletion
30-day grace period: Your account is deactivated immediately but data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind. During this period you can contact us to cancel the deletion.
After 30 days: Your personal data is permanently deleted or anonymised. This includes your profile, settings, social media tokens, and any content you created.
Exceptions: Some data may be retained for legal obligations (e.g. financial records for tax compliance are kept for up to 7 years as required by law).
Confirmation
Once your deletion request is processed, you will receive an email confirmation at the address associated with your account. Your confirmation reference code is your user ID, which can be found in your account settings before deletion.
We process all deletion requests within 30 days of receipt, in compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.
